Social Skills Groups

The Social Skills Groups are for children ages 7-21 who have a variety of special needs including ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), other developmental disabilities, and intellectual disabilities. The group sessions are held once per week on Thursdays or Fridays from 5:30-7 in Hackettstown, NJ. The groups have be between 4-6 children, with the BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst), and 1-2 RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians) attendance. Your child will be matched with peers who have similar communication, social, and leisure abilities. These groups are covered by most health insurance companies for children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder diagnosis. We also offer private pay options for children with other diagnoses.

Group reinforcement systems will be in place as an extra incentive! You child will work with their peers to earn an extra fun activities at the end of each session!

Your child will learn how to play a variety of games. They can use these new skills with other peers at school, on play dates, and even at you family game nights!

Your child will be taught communication and social skills using the principles of ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) . These skills will be individualized to your child.
